Rainola started with a simple question: why does cleaning have to feel so harsh? We set out to make a stain remover that feels good to use, smells like nothing in particular, and quietly does its job.
Meet Josef
"I still remember the morning I watched my daughter pull her favourite yellow sweater over her head — only to find a stubborn chocolate stain I couldn't get out. I reached for the harsh chemical remover under the sink and suddenly paused. I didn't want that near her skin."
Josef founded Rainola in his small Stockholm kitchen, driven by a father's simple desperation: remove the stain without the guilt. After months of testing plant-based formulas on every mess his two children could create — from grass stains to tomato sauce — he finally landed on something that worked. Not with aggressive chemicals, but with patience, plants, and a stubborn belief that kindness and effectiveness could coexist.
Today, every bottle carries that same promise he made at his kitchen sink — tough on stains, gentle on everything you love.
